We have often had customers exclaim, “Are those sweet peas!,” at farmers markets. After first smelling the heavenly perfume and then seeing the dainty mix of pastel pink and lilac, to hot pinks, deep purples, and whites. Many then go on to share wonderful stories about their grandmothers and how sweet peas remind them of their loved ones. It is in celebration of Grandmothers, those still with us and those no longer with us that we name this delightful mix.
